We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.
He has backed off of that, ‘big brother’ has disappeared from his speech.
In a post on FreeRepublic.com, Sean Robins explains why he believes it’s likely one of Obama’s handlers counseled him to remove the two lines from the speech and then the senator decided to put them back in.
“Most of the time, when Obama flubs a line and attempts to recover, you can easily spot it,” Robins writes, but in this case, the lines are “delivered clearly, concisely, and succinctly, without any hint that they emanate from a flub.”
Robins speculates the lines were prepared and rehearsed ahead of time, the handler or handlers counseled him to take them out, and “in the moment of the speech, he decided, ‘they’re back in.’”
Robins says that while this is speculation, it points to the need to “pay closer attention to Obama’s speeches, for what is off the cuff, for what his trainers and handlers might not want him to say, but which he will continue to say anyway. We know he’s really good on a fixed script. And we know that he’s really bad on his own.”
You’ve got that right. He’s now being compared to John Kerry as another very accomplished flip flopper.
Loving your country shouldn’t just mean watching fireworks on the 4th of July. Loving your country must mean accepting your responsibility to do your part to change it.
That’s the one thing he’s been consistent on; he doesn’t love America for what she is–he loves her for how she’ll be like Castro’s Cuba one day after we ‘change’ and accept the Global Poverty Act, etc.

This is amazing, since that recent gallup poll says that the American people think the democrat-controlled Congress is a failure. They have a devastatingly high disapproval rating of 75%.
So she can blame Bush all she wants; it doesn’t change the fact that they’re doing a bad job.
Not to mention the fact that none of the Presidential candidates who are Senators have done their jobs so far this year.

WASHINGTON (AFP) — At Iraq’s request, the US military this year transferred hundreds of metric tons of yellowcake uranium from Iraq to Canada in a secret, weeks-long operation, a Pentagon spokesman said Monday.
The 550 metric tons of uranium, which was sold to a Canadian company, was moved by truck convoy to Baghdad’s “Green Zone,” then flown by military aircraft to a third country where it was put on a ship for Canada, said Bryan Whitman, the spokesman.
“The operation was completed over the weekend, on Saturday,” Whitman said.
The yellow cake was discovered by US troops after the 2003 US invasion of Iraq at the Tuwaitha Nuclear Research Facility south of Baghdad, and was placed under the control of the International Atomic Energy Agency.
Yellow cake is a form of processed uranium ore that can be used to make fuel for nuclear reactors, or if further enriched as fuel for nuclear weapons.

He was killed by an IED that also injured two other Australian soldiers and a third man who is unidentified at this time. He is the sixth Australian soldier to die in Afghanistan since 2002, and the second this year.
“The injuries to the remaining two soldiers do not appear to be life-threatening. However they and the coalition national who was seriously wounded continue to be closely monitored.”
Air Chief Marshal Houston said that because the injured soldiers were special forces their personal details would not be made public.

New Zealand-born Mr McCarthy, who was not married, joined the Australian Defence Force in 2001. He was described today as an “avid rugby union supporter”.
On his previous tour in Afghanistan, he was recognised by the special operations commander for his courage and mission focus, including a specific commendation for “maintaining his presence of mind and excellent soldier’s skills while in contact with the enemy,” Air Chief Marshal Houston said.
“Signaller McCarthy was an experienced, highly skilled and professional soldier.
“He was very well respected by his comrades and will be sorely missed by his many friends.”
We have finished what we set out to do in Iraq. The skies of Iraq are clear, the business of the people moving along as it should. The soldiers and police officers we trained are at work with their people, as it should be.
The engineers and people we guarded have done their work, helping with the rebuilding and, as time moves on, we have seen more and more of our wildest hopes realised, the Iraqi people standing up,proud and strong, their military ready and willing to take the fight to the enemy and send them to Hell.
We will watch, bursting with pride, as the Iraqi people at last hear the sound of freedom ring, in the hubbub of a busy marketplace, in the promise of a newborns first cry.

If you take Scott Wayne Covington’s rap sheet which includes his bilking people who thought they were buying pianos out of hundreds of thousands of dollars–just in the past year–it would seem to me that the writers behind Politico should be embarassed for claiming that Sinclair’s crimes mean you should ignore the 1999 sex and drug allegations against Obama. Their source for that information -if I’m not mistaken - is The Mitch and Nan Show. Scott Wayne Covington of Houston Texas has been revealed as the ‘french blogger’ who’s been writing at the Mitch and Nan Show with a little help from his friends, such as Paul Day aka Billy Bob Neck, of Watertown, Massachusetts.
None of Sinclair’s history has anything to do with facts, such as the limo driver’s name or the phone numbers he provided at the press conference. Here’s to the hope that the Chicago PD is doing their jobs rather than claiming they’re doing an ‘investigation’ and merely coming up with a politically acceptable conclusion for the Obama campaign. If they were doing their jobs, they would be concentrating on verifying the facts presented, like the phone numbers - and trying to get Obama’s phone records from 1999 to verify who it was that Obama called on the night that Sinclair alleges Obama made a call to score some coke - in addition to those of Donald Young and the other gay members of the Trinity United Church of Christ who were murdered. It would seem to me that at least following those leads could either exonerate Obama, or land him in hot water. Either way, let’s get on with it and stop with the stalking and attempted extortion of money from little old ladies like Sinclair’s mother simply because she IS Sinclair’s mother, which is just another way to apply pressure to him to shut up.
People are focusing on reputations and/or ruining people rather than reviewing the facts. I still haven’t seen anyone besides Rense and Tarpley honestly out there INVESTIGATING other than for the purpose of smearing someone for the purpose of saying “oh, don’t pay attention to HIM.” The Obama website devoted to ’stopping the smears’ hasn’t mentioned word one about the Sinclair allegations, one has to wonder precisely why that would be; if only for a second. 
People should ignore the Mitch and Nan Show, for starters, as it appears to be run by a bunch of attention-starved hacks and two-bit criminals with the collective emotional intelligence of mere teenagers - one of whom has been protected by his rich family from the consequences of his actions.
It seems to me that Greta Van Susteren’s post about why she won’t investigate the facts around the Sinclair press conference is very telling, but it fits within the same theme I’ve been watching play out for the last four years. What’s disturbing is that it’s over something that you’d think people would be taking a lot more seriously.
If you were told by Sinclair that a bus was about to hit you, would you not jump out of the way until it did because he was convicted of something 20 something years ago? The Obama bus is barreling down the street with a number of people screaming from underneath it that he’s thrown under there, yet all his supporters seem to be able to do is whine and complain that Sinclair had some wild adventures in his life around 20 years ago.
The difference between Sinclair and Covington, however, is that Sinclair is not claiming to be La Rye Silva today. Sinclair is not sitting behind a computer screen pretending he’s someone from another country. Sinclair isn’t running from his past convictions or pretending they don’t exist.
How about looking at Covington’s problems which are a lot more recent and in fact continue to this very moment, and the disgusting adolescent screeds from a number of individuals who appear to have never grown up to be responsible for themselves? What about the extortion phone call that Covington made to Larry’s mother? This, not to mention the vicious internet death threats made to Sinclair that came from the un-named unidentified individual that the US Attorney is protecting.
I am horrified that I’m talking about the actions of officials and politicians in whom we have placed our public trust. People have veered so far off course as to EXPECT corruption and lies in politics, and the Sinclair story and all he has endured is just a symptom of that.
We need to watch very carefully what it is that Covington and his minions are complaining about, because it appears that the very things that seem to be bugging them - like Larry being overweight, for example, - is something that 5′10″ 180 pound Covington ought to think about for a moment.
Citizen Wells says that Greta on Fox used to have a hard hitting news show, and now it’s been relegated to little more than entertainment.
But isn’t that true with news in general, and reporters in general? They decide what it is we need to hear; and they manufacture storylines and throw out the facts that don’t fit those preconceived storylines.
I’ve seen it again and again, it was very evident with the Idema story - and how Stacy Sullivan put together the first smear piece and Mariah Blake came along later and used the same sources - including Joe Cafasso, Ed Artis and Tod Robberson. Samuel Eddy Reames - aka - Flogging the Simian was also in there disparaging the counter terrorism work that Idema was doing, and he was working in collusion with these people, and even took money from relatives thinking he was in touch with Idema. It turned out to be a collosal fraud.
Just like what’s happening with the people who are attacking Sinclair today. If these people aren’t being guided by Axelrod’s AKP&D Message & Media or Axelrod himself, it’s STILL certain that they have political motivations and aren’t interested in the truth. Their interest is getting Obama into the White House. And Obama’s flip flopping on issues and plain outright lying about them is in order to move himself more to the ‘center’, whatever that means - so he doesn’t turn so many people off to what it is he really represents.
If William Ayers, Castro, Gadafi and the other terrorists his campaign is affiliated with and/or supported by are any indication about what he stands for, we don’t have to look that much further. “Birds of a feather flock together”, as they say. It is more than mere words that we should be looking for…we should be looking for what is in his heart.
Sinclair’s story is just another piece of it; but we shouldn’t be looking to shoot the messenger; we should be looking at the points he’s made. Finding the limo driver. We have his name now; it’s JAGIR P MULTANI. There are the phone numbers; 954-758-1105; 956-758-1885; 956-758-8002; 302-685-7175; 612-466-1043. As Sinclair said in his press conference statement here, perhaps someone will attempt to connect the dots instead of concentrating all their efforts in character assassination and deflecting any criticism of Barack Hussein Obama.
People were complaining that we didn’t have that key piece of evidence, but now that we have it, they don’t seem that interested in it. In fact, they are doing their utmost to brush all of this under the rug and use Sinclair’s crimes from 20+ years ago as the reason not to investigate.
Well if those crimes are so important, then what of Covington’s, or do those not matter?
This defies rational thinking unless they’re protecting a guilty man. If Obama were not guilty, if he were innocent of the charges made by Sinclair, wouldn’t this logically have easily been over months and months ago? Because his innocence would have been easy to prove? Wouldn’t Obama and Axelrod have brought defamation charges? If these were lies and so easy to disprove, why haven’t they done it? This has been going on since Sinclair was first trying to get the attention of the Obama campaign - since the fall of 2007 - all the way up until now, quite some time before Donald Young’s murder.
Donald Young’s contacting Sinclair before his untimely demise certainly says something about Sinclair’s allegations. Perhaps Greta should stop looking at the people who are pointing the finger and hit the ground and do some damned legwork before she arrives at her conclusions rather than looking at one ridiculous blog which relies on sources like Scott Covington and the Mitch and Nan Show for information.
Can you honestly take a blog seriously that has an entire post entitled PAUL HAS A ROCK PULLED FROM HIS PEE PEE!

The main difference between Fox and the big three is that it isn’t totally inspired by Castro-loving Che t-shirt wearing marxists, or members of the TUCC congregation who think it’s ‘patriotic’ to be a black marxist separatist - or members of the NOI or any of the other loony outfits who’ve expressed their support for Obama - like Hamas and Hezbollah. Or people who stand deaf dumb and silent while a woman sings the black anthem in place of the United States anthem.
We are traveling down a dangerous road in a race car with no brakes….and it’s frightening to think how close we are to diving head first into the precipice, with no safety net.

It is getting very interesting how the MSM can question the citizenship of a man born to American parents while serving abroad with the US military, but completely ignore the rule of law, which states clearly the ground for being a “natural born” citizen of this greatest nation.
From Atlas Shrugs:
Barack Obama is not a legal U.S. natural-born citizen according to the law on the books at the time of his birth, which falls between December 24, 1952, to November 13, 1986. Federal Law requires that the office of President requires a natural-born citizen if the child was not born to two U.S. Citizen parents. This is what exempts John McCain, though he was born in the US Panama Canal Zone.
US Law very clearly states: ‘. . . If only one parent is a U.S. Citizen at the time of one’s birth, that parent must have resided in the United States for minimum ten years, five of which must be after the age of 16.’ Barack Obama’s father was not a U.S. Citizen is a fact.
Obama’s mother was only 18 when Obama was born. This means even though she had been a U.S. Citizen for 10 years, (or citizen of Hawaii being a territory), his mother fails the test for at-least-5-years- prior-to Barack Obama’s birth, but-after-age-16.
In essence, Mother alone is not old enough to qualify her son for automatic U.S. Citizenship. At most, 2 years elapsed from his mother turning 16 to the time of Barack Obama’s birth when she was 18. His mother would have needed to have been 16 + 5 = 21 years old at the time of Barack Obama’s birth for him to be a natural-born citizen. Barack Obama was already 3 years old at the time his mother would have needed to be to allow him natural citizenship from his only U.S. Citizen parent. Obama should have been naturalized as a citizen . . but that would disqualify him from holding the office.
The Constitution clearly declares: Naturalized citizens are ineligible to hold the office of President. Though Barack Obama was sent back to Hawaii at age 10, any other information does not matter because his mother is the one who must fulfill the requirement to be a U.S. Citzen for 10 years prior to his birth on August 4, 1961, with 5 of those years being after age 16.
Further, Obama may have had to have remained in the USA for some time frame to protect any citizenship he might have had, rather than living in Indonesia. This is very clear cut and a glaring violation of U.S. Election law. I think the Governor Schwarzenegger of California should be very interested in discovering if Obama is allowed to be elected President without being a natural-born U.S. Citizen, since this would set a precedent. Stay tuned to your TV sets because I suspect some of this information will be leaking through over the next several days.

Then, toss a little more virtual gas on the bonfire of deceit (also from Atlas Shrugs) - a real, board certified computer forensics specialist declares that the Obam birth certificate is, in fact, by his expert review, a forgery:
As a real forensic computer investigator (board certified, investigated thousands of cases, access to a full forensic computer lab, yadda yadda…) I decided to jump into the fray over the fake vs real discussion a week ago when a friend of mine challenged me to see what I could find (since according to him, the document was clearly a real one). He is what one would call a slightly rabid Obama supporter – he even has the tattoo to prove it.
First things first…I used the latest online KOS version (downloaded 6/29/2008) as it was supposedly the first released digital copy and the Decosta certificate from Israel Insider’s blog (also downloaded 6/29/2008) as an exemplar of a real certificate.
Of forensic interest on the KOS version is the EXIF metadata (encoded in the digital image data) showing that the KOS certificate was modified or created with “Adobe Photoshop CS3 Macintosh” on “2008:06:12 08:42:36″. Assuming the EXIF data was added after the document was scanned (assuming it is real) and the document modified only by placing a black-out section over the Certificate Number or if it was converted and saved for web use this would not be too unusual. The Daily KOS released the story on “2008:06:12 08:44:37” which would be 2 minutes after the graphic’s EXIF stamp was created.
Before I became a forensic geek I worked for [a herein nameless publicly traded company] that designed counterfeit detection hardware and software for the banking and retail industry. The company was very high profile and we received training from [a certain herein nameless department of the Federal government that knows a thing or two about counterfeiting] - but I do not claim to be an all around expert in Questioned Documents but after several years of working with them I do know what to look for to spot an obvious fake.
That being said…I too was able to see “something” that looked like a seal - however even using highly specialized software (specifically designed for law enforcement and forensic examiner use for cleaning up digital images and video) I was unable to recover anything more than what others have previously released using a basic find edges and modification of the contrast. Even when the background security paper pattern was removed there was not enough of a “seal” to view anything usable or verifiable which is a bit odd but still might be possible if the seal had been completely flattened out in the mail, etc. There is also a fold which runs vertically across the top of the certificate which is close to the same location on the Decosta certificate.
At this point I was beginning to believe the certificate was real until I resized and overlaid the Decosta certificate on top of the KOS version. All things being equal there was a 3.82% difference in the size of the KOS version vs the Decosta certificate - but again depending on the optical distortion from the scanner this too was explainable. But upon manually stretching them to match edge to edge I caught a glimpse of what I and apparently everyone else had simply not noticed. The security borders do not match. Literally. They are not even close to identical. For instance “Decosta” contains five 10 pixel wide “diamonds” per vertical row while the “KOS Obama” contains 2 to 2 1/4 36 pixel wide diamonds per vertical row. These differences can clearly be observed even with the naked eye although you may need to enlarge the graphics on your screen. Taking the measurements further - Decosta’s “Certification of Live Birth” heading is centered between security diamond pattern and is 762 pixels wide @ 0% angle while Obama’s “Certification of Live Birth” heading is not centered evenly between security diamond pattern and is 794 pixels wide @ 0% angle. Decosta’s “Any Alterations” footer is centered evenly between security diamond pattern and is 1244 pixels wide @ 0% angle while Obama’s “Any Alterations” footer is not centered evenly between security diamond pattern and is 1294 pixels wide @ 0% angle. I kept the comparative screen shots in case anyone wants them.

If we’re not careful, we may end up with someone who forged their way to attain the Presidency of the United States of America, in direct violation of the basic document that governs this nation’s entire basis of laws. And: The worst part: The “self appointedannointed” watchdogs will avert their eyes, just because they hate GWB. Now that’s a mature attitude to take in reportingmarketing the man who may be president.
